For example, the strategic establishment of robust ICT infrastructure not only fuels economic growth but also enhances the overall quality of life. Today, we witness seamless integration across various fronts, from captivating content like XR, VR, and AR to versatile platforms such as edge servers, cloud servers, and IoT, alongside cutting-edge networks like 5G/6G and an array of innovative devices like smartphones, EVs, autonomous cars, drones, and robots. In recent years, the convergence of ICT technologies—ranging from artificial intelligence (AI), drones, energy, IoT, eHealth, automotive, robots, AR/VR, media, to AI computing—has been instrumental in shaping diverse infrastructural domains. Consequently, fostering collaboration among researchers and engineers from diverse backgrounds is more imperative than ever to ensure that we stay abreast of the rapid advancements in ICT. Within our community, members are actively engaged in pioneering research endeavors, addressing forefront issues such as AI fundamentals, sensor fusion (LiDAR, RADAR, and camera), AI deployment on devices, 6G communications, Internet of Energy (IoE), Virtual Power Plants (VPP), diverse platforms (smart factories, smart cities, smart homes, and plant factories), 5G health, V2X communication, optical wireless communications (OWC) including Free Space Optic (FSO) and optical camera communications (OCC), big data analytics, blockchain technology, quantum computing, wireless and mobile network optimization, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations, ICT regulatory policies, and beyond.
